Hi Leslie, This was actually really easy. It is fun to make, also.
I started with a white board. It is thin like a pegboard but without the holes.
Use real crayola crayons. The generic ones do not melt or smell very good.
I bought a box of 64 and another box of 24 crayons. I didn’t use browns, blacks, grays, silver or the white.
Layout the colors in the order that you would like on your table or work surface.
Find the center at the top of the board – mark it with a pencil. Find the center of the crayons you laid out. I started at the center and worked my way to the outer edges. That way the crayons will be centered and you have a better chance of keeping them straight and have the same space on the outside edges.
Hot glue gun the crayons onto the board. I made sure all the logos on the crayons were facing the same way.
Next simply get out your blow dryer. Use the lower setting if you have one.
Lean the board against something. Hold the dryer facing the same direction as your crayons or the wax will start to splatter. Keep moving the dryer back and forth over about 10 crayons at a time. You can practice by using the extra crayons on a scrap board.

Keep going until you like the results.
Let me know how it goes,
