RED & GREEN DEVILED EGGS
Really Quick and Easy.

First I start with peeled hard boiled eggs.
You can buy them already boiled and peeled in the grocery store. I tried this but the eggs seem to be a little less rubbery when boiled yourself.

Cut the eggs in halves and put yolks in a bowl

Put the egg halves into the colored water.I did not measure any of the color.
I used food coloring, cold water and a little vinegar in a bowl.

While the eggs are soaking in color, Mix up your filling.
I’m in Texas so these are a few of the base ingredients I use. Again, I didn’t measure anything. You can add whatever you like to the egg yolks to make it taste good. Be careful about making the mixture too wet.

About the time my filling was ready so were the color on the egg whites. I fished them out with a spoon and placed them bottom side up on a few paper towels.  After they dried a bit I put them on a plate and filled them.It is best to use an actual deviled egg plate – I could not find mine.  After only 20 minutes in the fridge, the places where the red and green sides touched the color transfered and made a dark mark.

Sooo…Thats all there is too it.
